Japan Day 1 Box Office Collection: The much-awaited Tamil Heist action comedy film Japan finally arrived at the box office on November 10 under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. Features that are ensemble in the film are Karthi and Anu Emmanuel in pivotal roles, alongside Jithan Ramesh, K. S. Ravikumar, Sunil, and many others.
The film was released in Tamil and Telugu. As per the latest update of the Indian market tracker Sacnilk.com report, The film was opened with a decent number, ₹ 4.15 Cr, (₹ 2.35 Cr in the Tamil version and ₹ 1.80 Cr in the Telugu version).

Karthi’s heist action comedy had an overall 25.42% Tamil occupancy across the domestic market. Morning shows footfalls were 21.33%, afternoon shows footfalls were 22.29%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls of 25.07% and 32.98%, respectively.
And in the Telugu version, the film had an overall 28.83% occupancy. Morning shows footfalls were 27.45%, afternoon shows footfalls were 29.59%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls were 24.58%, and 33.70% across the country on the opening day.
