Kangana Ranaut fronted EMERGENCY final release date locked: The versatile Kangana Ranaut helmed, penned, and principal featuring much anticipated biographical political drama “Emergency,” after overcoming a long battle of censorship, today, November 18, gets the final release date, on 17th January 2025. It will be the first Crucial Hindi release at the beginning of the year 2025, just a week ahead of Akshay Kumar’s Republic Day weekend release Skyforce (24th January). Including Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik also joint hands with the film as pivotal roles.

On Monday, Kangana Ranaut took to her Twitter handle to unveil the final release date with a brand new poster, which featured all the prominent characters, and captioned it: “17th January 2025 – The epic saga of the nation’s most powerful woman and the moment that altered India’s destiny. #Emergency – Unveils Only in cinemas on 17.01.2025!”

Kangana Ranaut’s political drama film to showcase the darkest period of Independent India, a 21-month period of emergency (1975 to 1977) declared by that time Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. In the upcoming film, Ranaut will play the crucial role as Indira Gandhi, alongside Anupam Kher to play Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Narayan Srivastava and Atal Bihari Vajpayee‘s character to be portrayed by Shreyas Talpade. It is slated to hit big screens on 17 January 2025, under the banners Manikarnika Films and Zee Studios.
