Kanguva opening day advance booking: Studio Green and UV Creations banner jointly collaborated on the venture “Kanguva,” gearing up to release tomorrow, 14th November, under the direction of Siva. The film has grossed Rs 5.25 Cr for the opening day pre-booking in India; with just a few more to go, the final pre-booking collection will go in the range of Rs 6-7 Cr. On the other hand, at the key overseas market, it generated $172K+ gross at the U.S. and Canada. Stars teamed up with the venture are Suriya in dual roles, alongside Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Natarajan Subramaniam, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, and K. S. Ravikumar in supporting roles.

According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com’s latest report, it generated Rs 5.25 Cr gross after selling 2.85 lakh (285412) tickets across the country from 8970 shows (excluding block seats).
The Tamil 2D format has sold 43937 tickets from 1091 shows, grossing Rs 75.98 lakh, followed by the Tamil 3D format sold 154234 tickets from 2901 shows and earned Rs 3.10 Cr; Hindi 3D format has sold 8349 tickets, grossed Rs 23.38 lakh from 2012 shows; Telugu 2D format sold 46682 tickets, from 893 shows, garnered Rs 62.08 lakh; Hindi 2D format sold 4663 tickets from 1309 shows, grossed Rs 7.73 lakh; Telugu 3D format sold 27191 tickets from 701 shows, accumulated Rs 45.26 lakh; Kannada 2D sold 23 tickets from 17 shows, minted Rs 3750; and the Malayalam 2D format sold 332 tickets from 42 shows, which racked Rs 68387.
Kanguva premiere day pre-booking grosses $172K+ at North American
Suriya’s epic fantasy action film Kanguva is slated to premiere on the silver screens in North America (U.S.A. and Canada) a day ahead of India, on November 13th. According to the Venky Box Office’s latest update report, it has sold 7807 tickets from 1118 shows across 418 locations, generating $172,248 (Approx. Rs 1.45 Cr) gross. It’s anticipated that the final premiere gross will reach in the range of $300K-$400K+.
