Kantara Chapter-1 box office collection day 8 (early estimate): The latest high-profile Kannada film release, “Kantara: Chapter 1“, backed by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under Hombale Films, maintains a firm hold at the box office on the 2nd Thursday. As per the early estimate report, the film minted Rs 16.58 Cr net on day 8 and pushed the total week 1 Indian net score beyond Rs 330 Cr.

For raising the score, among the versions, the Hindi version leads with Rs 101.75 Cr, followed by the Kannada version with Rs 99.1 Cr.
On day 8, as per the early estimate report till 9 PM, the film has secured Rs 16.58 Cr net, taking the total domestic net score so far to Rs 332.83 Cr. By the end of the day, Kantara: Chapter 1 is expected to close around Rs 20 Cr+ net and is aiming for a week 1 total of over the Rs 336 Cr mark.
Notably, Kantara: Chapter 1 has become the first film in 2025 so far to surpass the massive Rs 100 Cr milestone alone in the Kannada version within 8 days – earlier, Su From So held the highest grosser spot with an Rs 84.45 Cr net score.
