Kantara Chapter-1 global box office collection day 1: Rishab Shetty’s latest high-profile pan-Indian mythological action drama, “Kantara: Chapter 1“, was released yesterday, on 2nd October 2025. On the opening day, the film received phenomenal positive word of mouth all across, and with the strong franchise value backing it, on the debut day, it delivered an earth-shattering Rs 87.75 Cr gross at the worldwide box office, setting a new benchmark and surpassing all the past Kannada movies’ records in recent years.

Kantara Chapter-1 Indian box office score day 1 hits Rs 60 Cr
As per the latest box office update by Sacnilk.com, Kantara: Chapter 1 kicked off the Indian box office journey with an impressive Rs 61.85 Cr net. The original Kannada version dominates with Rs 19.6 Cr, followed by the Hindi version, which secured Rs 18.5 Cr, the Telugu version with Rs 13 Cr, the Tamil version with Rs 5.5 Cr, and the Malayalam version, which successfully managed Rs 5.25 Cr. It’s worth adding that Kantara: Chapter 1’s Kannada version score is around 905.13% higher than the first film Kantara’s debut score of Rs 1.95 Cr.
