Karate Kid-Legends X Review
Night at the cinema tonight and it was Karate Kid Legends and it was okay. I think 90 mins was too short they could’ve made it a 2hr movie, definitely a lot of story they could’ve used.
#KarateKidLegends is a brutal disappointment. It’s the definition of a studio/marketing team lying to its audience. Jackie Chan is in this for like 15 minutes at most. Ralph Macchio is in it for like 5. Joshua Jackson plays a major role and it’s ridiculous. Horribly edited.
#KarateKidLegends was a lot of fun. It is your basic typical Karate Kid movie at its core, but that’s totally fine. Great to see Chan & Macchio back. Loved seeing Joshua Jackson & Ming-Na Wen. The kids were great too. It’s full of heart with plenty of karate, kung fu & NY pizza.
#KarateKid Legends is at its best focusing on Ben Wang. Some of the fights are pretty good too. Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio don’t get much. They either needed bigger roles or none at all Really, they should’ve leaned more into Cobra Kai somehow
