According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, the 2nd instalment of the Lucifer franchise film, L2: Empuraan, accumulated Rs 222 Cr (India: 92 Cr; Overseas: 130 Cr) gross in the last 6 days at the worldwide box office, followed by the footsteps on day 7, a day ahead of concluding the 1st week, the Indian market contributed Rs 6.7 Cr gross, and the overseas market added Rs 2 Cr gross, resulting in a total of 7 days of global gross numbers surpassing the Rs 230 Cr mark, and it stands at Rs 230.7 Cr (India: 98.7 Cr; Overseas: 132 Cr).
The overseas box office performance is nothing shorter than phenomenal, notably in one of the key overseas markets, North America; in 6 days (including the premiere), minted an incredible $2,532,718/ Rs 21.67 Cr (USA: $1, Canada: CAD$1,103,001).
