MAA Trailer Review: After the blockbuster success of 2024’s Shaitaan, the dynamic Kajol takes over the universe ahead with the high-octane film “Maa“, which is locked to start grace on the silver screens from 27th June 2025; also featuring Ronit Bose Roy, Indranil Sengupta, Kherin Sharma, and others. The trailer is successful in hooking the audience from beginning to end and raises expectations for the film.

Around 2.24 minutes in, the gripping trailer kicks off with Kajol‘s character, who is travelling to Chandrapur with her daughter, Shweta, but on the way to the destination, they experience some supernatural activity.
The plot takes a strong twist when the teenage daughter, Shweta, goes missing when she tries to explore a rumoured haunted place. Later Ronit Bose Roy’s character says this is not the first time; it’s been 3-4 months many girls have been vanishing. Kajol’s character as a Maa (Mother) promises her daughter that, at any cost, she will protect her. But it will be interesting to see how she will make it happen by exceeding all the odds.

Post-pandemic, the horror genre film in Bollywood is doing fantastic, encouraging the makers to make more films like Stree 2, Shaitaan and others. This time also, Kajol led Maa’s trailer, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats and boosting the audience’s excitement, stimulated yet terrified. Be prepared to experience another masterpiece from the makers of Shaitaan.
