While the film secured an incredible Rs 105.00 Cr gross at the worldwide box office over the first 8 days, maintaining the weekend upward trend, the film picked up momentum again on day 9, and it registered Rs 8.00 Cr gross, bringing the total global sum ahead to Rs 110 Cr, putting it well on track to surpass Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu lifetime global gross of Rs 116.88 Cr (according to Sacnilk.com).

Mirai garnered Rs 67.85 Cr (Hi: 13.5 Cr; Te: 53.01 Cr; Ta: 0.75 Cr; Ka: 0.4 Cr; Mal: 0.19 Cr) net in the initial 8 days in the Indian box office, followed by the beginning of the second weekend, i.e., day 9, which witnessed a solid 87.27% growth and minted approx. Rs 5.15 Cr (Hi: 0.8 Cr; Te: 4.28 Cr; Ta: 0.03 Cr; Ka: 0.03 Cr; Mal: 0.01 Cr) net. After 9 days of domestic runs, the total net score reached Rs 73 Cr.
Among the PAN Indian releases, the original Telugu version independently secured Rs 57.29 Cr net, marking it as the 9th top Telugu score in the running year, and it is all set to surpass Rajinikanth’s actioner Coolie, which holds the 8th spot with Rs 61.56 Cr.
