Mirzapur The Film Release Date out: Amazon Prime Video’s hugely popular series “Mirzapur” is all set to make a grand leap from OTT to cinemas, as it officially gets a theatrical release date. Production houses of the film Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment officially announced that the Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, and others-starring crime thriller film is scheduled to release on September 4, 2026, coinciding with the Janmashtami. The fans are now experiencing this intense power struggle and ruthless world of Mirzapur unfold on the big screen for the first time.

Mirzapur Movie Release Date Announced
On Thursday, February 5, Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment officially announced the Mirzapur movie release date through an X (formerly Twitter) post. Caption of the post read: “Ab dekhiye bhaukaal bade parde par. Watch #MirzapurTheMovie releasing at your nearest theatres on 4th September.”
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the crime thriller was created and penned by Puneet Krishna. Star-studded collaborators with the project include the prominent figures Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Divyendu Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee; the new faces joining the venture are Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan and others.
