Mission Raniganj Box Office Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar moves back after OMG 2 with the real-life story of Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, inspired by the brave “Jaswant Singh Gill” and his bravery in rescuing the 65 miners who were trapped in the waterlogged coalfield in Raniganj, West Bengal, in 1989.
The film made its theatrical debut on 6th October, Against Rajveer Deol and Paloma Dhillon’s romantic drama “Dono,” and Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi’s “Thank You for Coming.” Unfortunately, the film was opened decently at the box office instead of selling over 36K tickets for the opening day advance booking. As per the Sacnilk portal report, the film has garnered ₹ 2.8 crore net on opening day.
