Munjya is an ENTERTAINER. Absolutely loved the simplicity and the setting. The cast is simply phenomenal. It is their fabulous work that makes the film enjoyable. The first half is a package of drama, comedy & of course- the spine chilling moments. #MunjyaReview
Sharvari emerges as a star-performer, her performance is outstanding. #AbhayVerma is flawless & has nailed his act. #TaranSingh adds to the humour and leaves his mark for sure! The entire ensemble including #MonaSingh is literally at its best. It is the acting, the expressions & the dialogue delivery of the entire cast that makes the film really entertaining.
Special mention to the background score & the cinematography, both are outstanding. Director #AdityaSarpotdar gets it right by amalgamating the drama and comedy & horror aspect.
The first half is good and the second half somehow does not add much but again, remains fun to watch. The second half was stretched to some extent but it has its strong moments too.
The first half sets expectations high in terms of the plot but the second half continues it rather than introducing something new. Presence of smaller conflicts or sub-plots would’ve made the second half solid and it would have been an easy 4/5. Nevertheless, it is an enjoyable film that deserves a watch at the theatres.
RECOMMENDED. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The kids are gonna love it. 💯And wait for the mid credit.

Munjya is an entertaining horror comedy, that merges an innovative concept with humour and thrills. The biggest pluses for #Munjya include the fresh concept, honest story-telling, rich production values, neat VFX and the brilliant sound design.
While the first half flies in no-time, the second half, especially the finale act could have been slightly better, as there was some scope to go wilder in the comedy. Some sequences could have landed better in second half and narrative had potential for better emotions too, but none the less, one will enjoy the stuff that unfolds on screen. Director #AdityaSatpodar makes optimum utilization of the sources at his hand, and brings in the local Maharashtra flavour with utmost sincerity.
Munjya is more of comedy with horror and folklore in its backdrop, laying the path for the future timelines of #DineshVijan’s ambitious horror comedy universe. The folklore is well integrated in the modern set-up, and the makers follow their conviction to pull off a concept as whacky as this one.
AbhayVerma does well in his part, and is confident to hold attention on the screen. #Sharvari has limited presence, but shows her potential as an actor and seems to be a talent to watch out for. #Sathyaraj, #SuhasJoshi and #MonaSingh do well in their respective roles.
Overall, #Munjya is a fun ride for lovers of the genre, and deserves a watch on big screen. Expecting it to do well at the BO!
3.5 Stars ( ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟)
