Neeyat Movie Plot
When an estranged billionaire dies mysteriously in his luxurious Scottish stronghold on the eve of his birthday, the people and families closest to him are prime suspects, each intent on killing him. CBI officer Meera Rao arrives at the Citadel to investigate and must use her wits to unravel this mysterious murder.
Neeyat Movie Review
A barbaric Scottish stronghold rising out of the sea, a stormy full moon night, a murder with multiple prime accused, each with a clear Intention, and a confused but shrewd CBI officer trying to solve the mystery prima facie, helmer Anu Menon’s secrecy seems to be doing a lot to keep the audience captivated.
The thriller starts off well, as brilliant, shunned billionaire Ashish Kapoor (Ram Kapoor) and his coterie of rich people inspire everyone to get together on the eve of his birthday. His best friends include Sanjay Suri (Neeraj Kabi) and his wife Noor Suri (Dipanita Sharma), brother-in-law Jimmy (Rahul Bose), spiritual healer Zara (Nikki Walia),
and girlfriend Lisa (Shahana Goswami), Along with son Ryan (Shashank Arora), and Sasha (Ishika Mehra). You can tell that everyone is away from the industrialist, and even those who are not in his inner circle, such as event manager Tanveer (Danesh Razvi), secretary K (Amrita Puri), and Ryan’s girlfriend Gigi (Prajakta Coli), have some things to hide.
Vidya Balan, as a mastermind officer, gives a fitting performance by interpreting as a moving reference. As we have seen diva Vidya Balan in stellar performances (in other films), this takes away a bit from her engrossing performance. Ram Kapoor delivers a competent performance, be it as a notorious and outspoken business mogul, a frustrated father, or a bad-tempered man.
Rahul Bose’s character, Shashank Arora, is noisy and dubious. Stood out as the addict and anxious son, and his dialogue delivery timing is unblemished. Neeraj Kabi and Niki Walia also merit acknowledgement.
Baap of Movies Review
The film is interesting completely for the performances and the way it’s conventionalized. It has a couple of frightening scenes, too. But for a Thrilling and Suspicious film, the film deserved a far better screenplay with more anxious and shocking elements thrown in. Overall, it was enjoyable to watch.
