New South Park Episode Skewers Trump Again: South Park is not leaving Trump because in its second episode, they have once again returned to the political battlefield, and this time they have unleashed a no-holds-barred satirical attack on President Donald Trump and his inner circle. The second episode of Season 27, titled “Got A Nut”, when aired on Wednesday (August 6th, 2025), created havoc on social media because of its bold depictions of current political figures such as DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and Vice President JD Vance.

New South Park Episode Skewers Trump Again: Trump’s Budget Cuts Trigger Mr. Mackay’s Fall
The South Park second episode kicks off with a jab, and this time it is about Trump’s education policies. Also, the second episode shows that the long-time character Mr. Mackay is laid off from his role as the elementary school counsellor due to deep budget cuts to the Department of Education, and these cuts are directly linked to Trump’s fictional administration in the show’s universe. As Mackay is forced to make ends meet, he joins ICE, which opens the floodgates for the episode’s real targets: Noem and Vance.

Noem’s Puppy-Killing Scandal Reimagined
Another disturbing and darkly comedic moment featured Kristi Noem, who is in a recruitment video for ICE. Here, Kristi is shown to admit to the killing of her puppy “by shooting it in the face”, and this was a reference to her real-life confession in her 2024 memoir. This shocking moment gained a lot of attention, and it became a running gag throughout the episode and was amplified by visuals of Noem’s face grotesquely melting off.
In another brutal moment, which has attracted a lot of eyeballs, features Noem, who instructs ICE officers during a raid, “Remember, only detain the brown ones.” This exposes the show’s unflinching critique of racism in immigration enforcement.

Toddler JD Vance Follows Trump Like a Lost Puppy
The satire doesn’t stop at Noem because the show went on to involve Vice President JD Vance, who is portrayed as a toddler-sized and whiny sidekick to Trump, who follows him around Mar-a-Lago. His diminutive size and helplessness become comedic tools to mock Vance’s perceived subservience to the former president. The show displays Trump irritated by Vance’s presence, and he treats him more like a pet than a political partner.

As usual, South Park doesn’t shy away from going low because now Trump is again shown as Satan’s lover, which is a recurring gag from previous seasons, and he is humorously mocked for having “tiny genitals”, and to top this, they featured an AI-generated deepfake scene where he strips naked.
White House Fires Back
The show’s return has not gone unnoticed by the real-world White House. Just after the Season 27 premiere last month, a spokesperson called South Park a “fourth-rate” show. “The Left’s hypocrisy truly has no end,” they stated, and the White House dismissed the satire as a desperate grab for attention. The latest episode seems designed to provoke more of the same ire.
Final Thoughts
All in all, with “Got A Nut”, South Park has created another controversy, this time skewering Kristi Noem, JD Vance, and Trump with vicious precision. Lastly, South Park Season 27, Episode 2 displays how the makers double down on its legacy of irreverent political commentary.
