Panchayat Season 4 Plot Summary
The fourth season is all about the election of Phulera village, the iconic clash between two major teams. One is Pradhan Ji’s (Raghubir Yadav) team, which consists of the strong Manju Devi (Neena Gupta), Associate Pradhan Prahlad Cha (Faisal Khan), Sachiv Ji (Jitendra Kumar), Sahayak Sachiv (Chandan Roy), and Rinki (Saanvika). Alongside the Second team, led by Bhushan, aka Banrakas (Durgesh Kumar), with the members Kranti Devi (Sunita Rajwar), Binod (Ashok Pathak), and Vidhayak Ji (Pankaj Jha).
What are Banrakas’s plans for the voting campaign, especially the stolen plan from Pradhan Ji? Who was the shooter in the 3rd season to Pradhan Ji? Will Pradhan Ji be successful in maintaining his dominance? Who will win in this key election clash? Who will be elected the new pradhan? Has Sachiv Ji finally cleared his CAT exam? All these answers will unfold in this season, with a strong blend of emotion, while the humorous side will be lacking slightly.
Panchayat Season 4 Review
Among the backbone of the show are Sachiv ji, Pradhan ji, Prahlad Cha, Vikas, Bhushan, and others; Binod and Prahlad Cha’s portrayals are the winning part of the season, while the rest of the characters who entertained us over the past 3 seasons were unable to hold the viewers with their humorous interactions and irritable fights. In this season the Manju Devi looks more responsible as a real pradhan of Phulera compared to past appearances; she is also seen actively participating in the election and taking firm actions. Instead of the hooked election rival in the intense backdrop, nothing is being attracted much.
This latest season fails to bring any fresh new real-world issues for Phulera, alongside a few new faces who look unexplored, like Nana ji and the brilliantly short present character, young kid Billu. Chandan Kumar’s writing looked stuck, like his fictional village doesn’t want to grow. His key portrayal, Sachiv ji, is over-attached to the village, which raises hurdles against studying for his MBA. Amitabha Singh’s cinematography was, as expected, outstanding; he perfectly crafted the village backdrop.
Baap of Movies Verdict on Panchayat Season 4
Overall, Panchayat Season 4 shines with Phulera politics heating up and emotional arcs, but a key lacking the plot is stuck in the same loop & the humour fizzles. But still, the political conflict, fantastic village charm, and the touch of romance between Sachiv ji & Rinki make the shows watchworthy.
