Param Sundari box office collection day 1: Maddock Films brings the charming pair of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor together for the first time with the film “Param Sundari“, marked as the first rom-com venture explored by the banner, which was released in theatres yesterday on 29 August 2025. It received positive word of mouth, resulting in, despite poor pre-booking, opening with a healthy Rs 7 Cr net in India, and the latest trend clearly indicates it will gain momentum from the second day. Including the lead duo, the film also features Sanjay Kapoor, Renji Panicker, Siddhartha Shankar and others.

With Param Sundari’s initial advance booking kept in mind, trade analysts had predicted that Tushar Jalota’s directorial rom-com would begin its box office journey on a decent note around Rs 6-7 Cr net, but the positive word of mouth changed the entire scenario. As per the latest box office update by the veteran film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, it kicked off its box office journey with more than expected, Rs 7.37 Cr net domestically. With this performance, the film secured its position as the 13th biggest Hindi opener of 2025 so far, beating Rajkummar Rao’s Bhool Chuk Maaf’s opening day score of Rs 7.20 Cr.
