The Vignesh Raja-helmed action thriller film Por Thozhil was released in theaters on June 9, 2023. The film is based on the story of two COPs, both of whom have to reveal a serial killer. The randomly occurring murder was happening in Trichy, and a newly appointed academically bright COP Prakash (Ashok Selvan) and an experienced but nonsensical cop Lokanathan (Sarathkumar) were preparing for their mission to grab the serial killer.
