The legendary actor of the Indian film industry, Prakash Raj, supported Deepika in the Pathan Besharam Rang song costume controversy. He also reacted to the people of Indore who burned the posters of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

He wrote an article from his Twitter handle that those who boycotted the song “Besharam Rang,” “When saffron-clad men garland rapists,” and “a saffron-clad swami rapes minor girls,” So why can’t you wear saffron clothes in films?
Some workers of an organization protested the Besharam Rang song and burned effigies of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, which was not fair at all. Veer Shavji’s group demands a ban on the film and says it has insulted the Hindu community, reports PTI. And by using saffron cloth in the song, they all felt very sad.

Later, with the home minister of Madhya Pradesh objecting to Deepika Padukone’s costume, Narottam Mishra said that Deepika is wearing costumes in some scenes, and that is not correct.
The government will look into what can be done about its screening. Narottam Mishra, the spokesperson for the state government of Madhya Pradesh, says that Deepika Padukone was also seen in the JNU case in Delhi. She was part of the Tukde Tukde gang.
