Projapati 2 box office collection day 1: Dev & Mithun Chakraborty’s reunion film, “Projapati 2“, finally arrived on the big screens this Christmas Day holiday, on 25th December 2025, under the banners of Bengal Talkies & Dev Entertainment Ventures. As expected, the film debuted at the box office on a solid note, with Rs 80 lakh+ net, and surpassed Dev’s Durga Puja release film, Raghu Dakat.
Projapati 2 day 1 box office collection: Became 2nd top Bengali opener in 2025
According to the reputed market tracker Sacnilk.com report, the Bengali family drama film Projapati 2 opened at the Indian box office with a remarkable Rs 82 lakh net in India and became the second top Bengali opening film in 2025, just behind Dhumketu (Rs 1.11 Cr). It’s worth adding that all three of Dev’s releases this year have secured top positions on the list of highest-opening-day Bengali films in 2025.
