Projapati 2 Trailer out: Mithun Chakraborty and Dev reunite for the much-awaited family drama film “Projapati 2“, which serves as the second instalment of the Projapati film series and is locked to grace the silver screens on the holiday of Christmas Day, 25th December 2025. The gripping trailer retains the soul-stirring emotions that defined the original film. This time Projapati 2 adds a strong dose of humour with Kharaj Mukherjee and Kanchan Mullick.

The 2.44-metre-wide trailer revolves around Gaur Chakraborty (Mithun Chakraborty) and his son Joy (Dev), who is a single father taking care of his daughter, played by Anumegha Kahali, in London. Joy is a professional chef, facing challenges while balancing the work and raising his daughter.
Joy requests his father to come to London to help take care of his daughter, though Gaur Chakraborty refuses to leave his hometown but finally agrees and arrives in London. After reaching London, Gaur realizes one of Joy’s co-workers, played by Jyotirmoyee Kundu, started liking him. What unfolds next adds an intriguing twist to the story, making it an interesting watch this Christmas Day.

Avijit Sen helmed the film, with the script and dialogues penned by Subhadeep Das and backed by Gurupada Adhikari, Dev, Pranab Kumar Guha, and Swastik Ruiya. Subhankar Bhar handled the cinematography, edited by Sujay Datta Ray, and the music composed by Jeet Gannguli. The film is set to release on December 25, under the banners of Bengal Talkies & Dev Entertainment Ventures.
