It is stated that Bhushan Kumar, CEO of T-Series, has obtained the music rights to “Pushpa The Rule,” and T-Series has apparently paid an all-time record of Rs. 65 Cr for it. There is also an update that the amount seems unheard of and cannot be committed without official sources, but considering that the music of “Pushpa: The Rise” was a sensational hit, these numbers may be correct.
The music rights were locked before the cost was mentioned, making it the highest amount ever paid for Indian film music. SS Rajamouli‘s “RRR” was expectedly the last record possessor for Rs. 25 Cr music rights.
