Dhanush’s Raayan box office early estimates day 1: Sun Pictures presents the highly anticipated Tamil action thriller “Raayan,” which made its grand debut today, July 26th, helmed, penned, and keyed by the dynamic Dhanush, alongside S. J. Suryah, Prakash Raj, Selvaraghavan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Saravanan. This is the second directorial film by Dhanush, followed by 2017’s Tamil comedy drama “Pa Paandi.” The film is gearing up to open with a double-digit number around the range of ₹ 12.5–13 Cr net in India.

According to the latest report coming out, night shows occupancy in the Tamil Nadu region are in fire mode. On the ticket booking platform, the film sold over 16,000 tickets in the last hour. The Tamil version of the actioner already overtakes Dhanush’s Sankranti release, Captain Miller (₹ 8.05 Cr). There is high expectation that the Tamil version will contribute over ₹ 11 Cr net in India, followed by the Telugu version, which will add around ₹ 1.5 Cr, and the Hindi version, which will add in the range of ₹ 0.10-0.20 Cr net.
