Raid 2 teaser out: The makers of Animal, Drishyam, Shaitaan and Raid are back with the sequel to 2018’s critically and commercially acclaimed crime thriller Raid, “Raid 2“, directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, with the plot penned by Ritesh Shah, Raj Kumar Gupta, Jaideep Yadav & Karan Vyas, locked to keep us on the edge of our seats in theatres from 1st May 2025. Ajay Devgn is reprising his role as IRS Amay Patnaik to raid on the premises of another white-collar criminal, Dada Bhai (Riteish Deshmukh), who doesn’t care about law. Stars joint force with the film are including Devgn, Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial.

The 1.06-minute-long teaser reveals at another raid by IRS Amay Patnaik on the premises of another white-collar government personnel house, Dada Bhai, which is going to be his 75th raid in his career, and seized a massive INR 4200 Cr from the house. The plot also showcases a connection with the prequel, as the teaser also showcases the past culprit, Saurabh Shukla’s character, Rameshwar Singh, a.k.a. Ramji, who is in jail.
The glimpse hints at another sure-shot gripping thriller, and as the last dialogues from Dada Bhai in the teaser say, “Since when did Pandavas lay traps? In the reply, Patnaik says, “I never said I’m a Pandav; I’m the entire Mahabharata,” which showcases the depth of the plot, indicating things are looking more intense and harsh.
