The producer and director of Rang de Basanti, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is about to reform a part of the Mahabharata on his next venture. Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is presumed to be preparing to repeat the mythology of an epic morality tale with Karna. As per the current report, it seems that the filmmaker is anxious to rope Suriya in as a lead character. According to Bollywood Hungama, the actor is also eager to be a part of this venture and is in advanced conversation with the Rang De Basanti director and producer for the same.

A derived was recited in these portals saying, “Karna, which is Rakeysh’s fantasy venture, and he went on working on the content at the same time. According to the Pinkvilla News portal, the filmmaker was eager to take an accomplished actor on board to narrate this complex character. The director and producer Rakeysh, as well also his producing mates, have faith that his latest slate has the potential to be radical in India, as no one has attempted a film on such a concerned actor till date. The character trait justifies a versatile actor who can slide from one segment to another, and according to the director, Suriya is better at doing just that.
About Karna
It will be a pan-India film that will be presented in multiple languages. The producer also revealed that the film will be presented in 2 parts, and actor Suriya is very anxious to be a part of this film as well. And everything went according to plan; this would be Suriya and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s first collaboration. However, Suriya is currently busy with the shoot of his latest movie, “Kanguva“, which is the story of a warrior, and lead actress Disha Patni has also been roped in.
