Raktabeej 2 box office collection day 1: The acclaimed director duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s latest Bengali political action thriller, “Raktabeej 2“, led by Victor Banerjee, Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Ankush Hazra, Seema Biswas, and Koushani Mukherjee, hit the big screens on 25th September 2025. On the debut day, the film kicked off the box office journey with a decent Rs 15 lakh net in India, lower than the debut figures of its predecessor Raktabeej (2023), which had earned Rs 16 lakh.
According to the TollyBangla Box-Office report, the film had secured approx. 356 shows nationwide on the opening day.
Raktabeej 2 day 1 score beats Killbill Society
The much-talked-about face-off between Abir Chatterjee and Ankush Hazra in the prequel to Raktabeej (2023) received mixed to positive reviews from the moviegoers and critics. On the opening day, it was also reflected at the box office, as it began its box office journey around Rs 15 lakh—almost 200% lower than Dev’s Raghu Dakat. Still, it managed to secure the position of the 5th highest Bengali opener of 2025 so far, beating Parambrata Chatterjee and Koushani Mukherjee’s black comedy romantic thriller Killbill Society, which had secured Rs 12 lakh net.

Verdict
While Raktabeej 2 failed to match the massive hype of Dev’s film, Raghu Dakat, it had a decent opening. But the festive release timing suggests it could show a surge in the coming days and is expected to conclude the 4-day extended opening weekend in the range of Rs 1 Cr.
