Ramayana-The Introduction First Glimpse Out: Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial, the most anticipated epic action-adventure drama “Ramayana – The Introduction“, made its debut with the release of its spectacular glimpse, gearing up to hit the silver screens on Diwali 2026 (November 8th). The visionary Namit Malhotra-backed film is being made for huge IMAX screens. The massive star-studded ensemble with the film are Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey and Sunny Deol in pivotal roles.
On 3rd July (Thursday) makers launched the first glimpse in 9 different cities, including Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and Kochi, significantly boosting its global reach.

The 3-minute visually striking glimpse doesn’t reveal much; it mainly focuses on conveying the film’s core vision to the audience: “Since the existence of time, the trinity rules the three worlds. Brahma: God who Creates, Vishnu: God who Protects and Shiva: God who Destroys. But when their creation threatened to take over the three worlds, the WAR to end all WARS began, worshipped for 5000 years by 2.5 billion people. This glimpse is about the immortal story of Rama vs Ravana. The short glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana captured the attention of audiences worldwide.
As per the report, the epic was made with a budget of around Rs 835 Cr ($100 million), which marked the costliest film of the Indian film industry so far. The first glimpse’s presentation stunned the audience with the spellbinding VFX, incredible character design, and larger-than-life scale — all pointing to a budget well spent.
