Rohit Shetty directorial, the first installment of the Cop Universe film “Singham (2011)” re-release date unveils by the director himself on 18th October, 2024, while the 5th installment of the franchise Singham Again creates waves for the grand release in this Diwali, i.e., 1st November. It was also the inaugural installment of the Singham series, which received critical and commercial acclaim (grossed Rs 141.30 Cr) and inspired the makers for the upcoming installments; featuring in the action entertainer were Ajay Devgn, Kajal Aggarwal, and Prakash Raj in the crucial roles.

The action-packed entertainer was first released on 22 July 2011. After spending over 13 years, makers decided to bring the first blockbuster film of the franchise to the big screens again, just 2 weeks prior to the release of the huge star-studded 5th film of Cop Universe, Singham Again. Today, on 11th October, director Rohit Shetty took to the official Instagram handle and revealed the re-release date and captioned it: “Before he comes with his full force on Diwali. Experience how it all began again. Experience the mass again. Experience the euphoria again. Experience SINGHAM once more before SINGHAM AGAIN!”

The action-packed franchise was created by Rohit Shetty in the year 2011 with the film Singham, despite being based on Hari directorial 2010’s Similar titled Tamil film, became a blockbuster at the box office. Following the massive success, makers decided to bring the other installments, which are Singham Returns (2014), Simmba (2018), Sooryavanshi (2021), and now one of the most anticipated films in 2024, Singham Again (2024).
