Karthik Varma Dandu’s Telugu film Virupaksha hits 1 million dollar milestone in North America. The film was released on April 21, 2023, on the special occasion of Eid, opposite Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. In just 6 days, the film has collected ₹ 37.8 Cr (net) in the domestic chain, but a supernatural, horror, mystery film has only collected 1 million dollars in 6 days, based on the report of film critic Taran Adarsh.

Virupaksha, a movie penned by Karthik Varma Dandu, features Sai Dharam Tej, Samyuktha Menon, Brahmaji, Sunil, Rajeev Kanakala, and many more. The film was produced by V. S. N. Prasad and Sukumar, with music given by Ajaneesh Loknath, under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings. The filmmakers did not reveal the budget of the film, but according to news reports and internal sources, it was made with a budget of approximately Rs 60 – 80 crore. After completing it in 6 days at the box office, it collected ₹ 52.70 Cr (Gross) across the globe.
