Salaar Box Office Preview: The helmer of KGF franchise Prashanth Neel and the Rebal star Prabhas team up for the much anticipated venture Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, and it is the first collaboration between them. The film is all set to debut in theatres on Christmas Eve, December 22. Features ensembled with the film are Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Hassan, Jagapathi Babu, and others.
On December 9th, the film got a green signal from the CBFC board and was censored with an “A” certificate, which indicates adults only. It also got approved for a 2 Hours, 55 Minutes, and 22 Seconds (175 Minutes and 22 Seconds) runtime.
Salaar Part 1 Ceasefire Aims to Release over 7000 Screens
The Prabhas-led “A“-rated action thriller is being released under the banner of Hombale Films and set to be distributed by its own production house in the Karnataka market; Prithviraj Productions will distribute in the Kerala market; Red Giant Movies will distribute in Tamil Nadu; and AA Films will distribute in North India.
The PAN India film set to release against Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” Despite a strong rivalry, the film headed to a wide release of over 7,000 screens at the global box office, with a massive screen count of over 6,000 screens in the domestic market and the rest of the 1000 screens in the overseas market. On the other hand, Dunki has released over 5000 screens in the global market, out of 4000 screens in the domestic market. As per the latest report, Moksha Movies and Prathyangira Cinemas jointly distribute the film in the overseas market.
Salaar Box Office Preview Hints to Open over Half Centre
As per the market tracker Sacnilk.com report until December 21st, 10.03 p.m., the film has surpassed the SRK starrer Jawan and Pathaan records and is targeting to overcome the all-time highest pre-booking Indian film “Leo‘s” record (₹ 46.36 Cr). The much-anticipated film has sold 2019,873 tickets for the opening day, which are worth ₹ 43.53 Cr gross. Based on the huge advance booking trend, there is a strong expectation that the film will surpass the notable Half-Century net mark at the domestic box office, and the global box office will excel at the outstanding ₹ 120 Cr mark on the opening day.
