Salaar re-release box office collection day 1: The renowned director Prashanth Neel helmed and penned 2023’s super-hit epic action drama “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire“, re-released around a year & half after the original release (22 December 2023), on 21st March, 2025. On the opening day it generated Rs 3 Cr+ net, marking it as darling Prabhas’ career biggest re-release number in India; that’s not all; it also registered the biggest repeat-run opening debut score film in 2025, in the absence of a North Indian release.

According to the latest box office update, Hombale Films film backed the inaugural installment of the Salaar franchise; Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire enjoyed a phenomenal early sale of Rs 1.73 Cr after selling a huge 1.36 lac+ tickets only in the Telugu version; the result reflects on the opening day score, debuting with a remarkable Rs 3.20 Cr net, in the absence of any festival.
This is the first time any Prabhas-led film has achieved this milestone, as we knew it created a different level of aura in its original release; following that, the trend still continues. Hopefully, it will perform fantastically on the rest of the weekend days to introduce a commendable total.
