Sarfira Global Box Office Collection Day 3 (Weekend): Aishay Kumar’s latest drama film, “Sarfira,” is a remake of 2020’s Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, which itself is an adaptation of the G. R. Gopinath-penned book “Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.” The film, after overcoming the crucial opening weekend, has grossed a decent ₹ 17.13 Cr globally, despite being critically acclaimed. At the domestic market, the remake film generated ₹ 7.00 Cr net in the initial 2 days; however, on opening Sunday, it witnessed a 22.22% spike and added ₹ 5.50 Cr net, taking the opening weekend domestic net to ₹ 12.50 Cr.

Side by side, on the Crucial Sunday, the Indian market grossed ₹ 6.55 Cr, and the international market contributed around $120K (approximately ₹ 1.00 Cr) gross, taking the total weekend global gross to ₹ 17.14 Cr (India: ₹ 14.88 Cr; Overseas: ₹ 2.25 Cr).
