Madhavan, Jyotika, and Janki Bodiwala in pivotal roles. Despite being a remake, the exceptional performances by the cast and the collective efforts of the entire team garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from both audiences and critics. Last but not the least, a special mention of the terrific background score [#AmitTrivedi], it amplifies the tension and unsettling vibe.

Shaitaan Day 1 Domestic Theatres Occupancy Report
Shaitaan had an overall 25.70% Hindi 2D occupancy across the domestic theaters on day 1. Morning shows footfalls were 13.54%, afternoon shows footfalls were 21.00%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls of 25.23% and 43.02%, respectively.
And in the Hindi ICE format, the film had an overall impressive 52.13% occupancy on day 1. Morning shows footfalls were 27.00%, afternoon shows footfalls were 49.25%, followed by evening and night shows footfalls of 52.00% and 80.25% respectively.
Shaitaan Box Office Collection Day 1 Headed to Rack ₹ 14.50 Cr Net in India
According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com early estimates report, Ajay Devgn starrer Supernatural Thriller opens with a double-digit number of ₹ 14.50 Cr net in India, making it the 2nd highest opener Hindi movie of 2024, followed by Fighter (₹ 24.60 crore), and trending also hinting that it had the potential to surpass ₹ 30 Cr net in the opening weekend and Half Century in the 1st week.
