Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao‘s critically acclaimed film Stree‘s makers are gearing up for the sequel. Finally, the sequel Stree 2 filming begins today, on July 11, 2023, and the film is set to release in August 2024. They have yet to announce the exact release date. According to the latest updates, the lead features remain the same: Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. Still, there are no updates about other star casts.

The horror comedy film once again teams up with Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and director Amar Kaushik. The story is penned by Niren Bhatt, and The Venture is being produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande; co-producer Sharada Karki; and Sachin-Jigar is the music producer for the film. Maddock Films and Jio Studios are the banners under which the film is set to release in August 2024.
