Stree 2 global box office collection day 6: Dinesh Vijan and Jayoti Deshpande backed the horror comedy sequel, Stree 2, a.k.a. Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank is the 5th installment of the Maddock Supernatural Universe, released on August 15th, coincidentally on the occasion of Independence Day.
After a holiday-packed extended weekend, right from Independence Day to Raksha Bandhan, it garnered a sensational ₹ 242.40 Cr net, followed by an extraordinary ₹ 26.80 Cr net on the first working day, bringing the total domestic net to ₹ 269.20 Cr.

Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s fronted horror comedy sequel grossed $5.97 million (₹ 50 Cr) in the last 5 days. Side by side, on day 6 (1st Tuesday), it delivered around $715K (₹ 6.00 Cr) gross, bringing the total overseas collection to $6.67 million (₹ 56 Cr). As per the latest update by the distributor Prathyangira Cinemas, alone in the North American (U.S. and Canada) market, the film has grossed a noteworthy $3.5 million (₹ 29.37 crore).

As per the early Maddock Films report, Stree 2 grossed ₹ 335 Cr (India: ₹ 285 Cr; Overseas: ₹ 50 Cr) in the last 5 days globally. Following on day 6, the dimestic market grossed ₹ 32.83 Cr, and the international market grossed $715K (₹ 6.00 Cr), bringing the six-day total worldwide gross collection to ₹ 373.83 Cr (India: ₹ 317.83 Cr; Overseas: ₹ 56 Cr). Now it overtakes Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s lifetime worldwide gross collection of ₹ 337.2 Cr.
