Stree 2 opening day advance booking: Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande present the highly anticipated sequel, Stree 2, the fifth installment film of the iconic Maddock Supernatural Universe, slated to hit theaters this Independence Day (15 August) under the banners Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The star cast of the film—Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana—will be reprising their lead roles alongside Sunita Rajwar, Tamannaah Bhatia (Cameo), and Akshay Kumar (Cameo), who will join hands in the venture.
From August 10th, 5 days prior to the grand theatrical debut, makers opened the advance booking, and with just 1 and a half days to go, until now the horror-comedy sequel has sold 2.45 lac tickets, dominating the pre-sale among this mega clash.

According to the Indian market tracker Sacnilk.com update until August 13 at 1.02 p.m., the horror comedy has sold 2.45 lac (244759) tickets across the country, which is worth around Rs 7.52 Cr (75152287) gross (excluding block seats). The entertainer has the potential to breach the Rs 40 Cr net mark in the domestic market (including the August 14th paid preview). The Hindi version contributed the major chunk of the collection. The National Capital Region (NCR) region alone contributed Rs 1.82 Cr gross, followed by Mumbai at Rs 1.07 Cr and Kolkata at Rs 60.81 Lac gross.
