Sukhee Movie Review: Sukhee is a comedy-drama Hindi-language film in which Sonal Joshi aims to show the women’s lives after getting married on the big screen on September 22, 2023. Shilpa Shetty as Sukhee, who is a very independent girl after getting married, gets stuck in four walls, taking care of her husband, daughter, and household hu stuff. She also needs some break, and then she got a chance as well because of her college friends reunions, but her husband denied letting her go for the reunions. Will she be able to go to the reunions and leave her life without any household stress? It will be more exciting and fun to watch Shilpa Shetty in this diversion character.

Sukhee Movie Plot Analysis
The film offers us the story of Punjabi homemaker Sukhpreet Kalra, aka Sukhee (Shilpa). After spending a long journey in marriage, she faces an existential crisis, but suddenly, after two decades of callege friend gang reunions, the soul is inserted into her soulless life. How Will She Reunite With Her College Friends Gang Against Her Husband’s Opinion? And slowly, many things will unfold through the film.
Sukhee Movie Review
The Sonal Joshi helmed family drama film delivers the story of a middle-class family woman who forfeits all dreams for her family, and she tries to give her 100 percent to play the roles of wife, mother, and daughter-in-law. Most middle-class women can relate their life stories to this movie. The first half showed what we have already experienced in the trailer, but the second half will surprise you when all the friends meet together after 20 years.
Shilpa Shetty Come forward with a unique concept after a long hiatus, along with Chaitannya Choudhry as a middle-class husband who has done a superb job in this film. The film has a dialogue, “Sukhee naam wale kabhi dukhi nahi hotay,” repeated many times, which is quite annoying for the audience. Sukhee’s friend Surcle (Kusha Kapila, Dilnaz Irani, Pavleen Gujral) was not that impactful; Amit Sadh’s love track took much time and doesn’t help it all.
Baap of Movies Review
Overall, Sonal Joshi directed Shilpa Shetty-led Sukhee is a decent family drama film that needs lots of improved story lines and presentations. The film fails to utilize the struggle of a middle-class house wife. This is a one-time-watch movie in theaters, or you can wait for the OTT release.
