The film began its box office journey with mixed word of mouth, but still, thanks to strong star power and buzz, it kicked off the domestic box office journey with a notable Rs 10 Cr+ net in India. The stars joining forces with the twisted tale are Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf in crucial roles.

According to the latest official box office update by Dharma Productions, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari collected a solid Rs 10.17 Cr net on day 1 in the Indian box office. Surpassing Sunny Deol’s Jaat opening day score of Rs 9.62 Cr, it became the 11th top Hindi opening film in 2025 so far. Despite facing stiff competition against Rishab Shetty’s Kannada magnum opus Kantara Chapter 1, the film opened strongly, driven by its star power and early buzz.
