David Corenswet’s Superman Final Trailer X Review
New Superman trailer is great but I gotta admit some CGI is very visible. I hope it’s Fantastic Beasts effect where CGI in the trailers on the smile screen looked wonky but on the big screens it was excellent
Superman trailer, better but still lacks imo.But the teeth getting knocked out is jarring, like he doesn’t do that, and if its for comedic effect like it seems in trailer it doesn’t work. Expect people will love it or hate it, no middle ground. Will be kind of reverse Snyderverse
I remain lukewarm on #SupermanMovie. This trailer didn’t ignite my excitement, but gave me plenty of moments of pause. I’m not sold on this GOTG w/ Donner Superman Skin, the generic video game dialogue, or the rubbery visuals that resemble THE FLASH/The Suicide Squad.
That #Supermantrailer felt like I was watching an episode of Superman the animated series. I’m loving the DC universe Gunn is creating. I don’t want realism and grounded. I want a Metropolis and Gotham that doesn’t look like NY and Chicago.
I’m one of the 5 people who think the Superman trailer actually looks great. Wonky CGI is usually a turn-off, but I like how stylistic the film looks, and it’s really going to enhance the comic-bookish aesthetic of the film. Film Twitter will never be happy with a CBM ever again
Quite frankly, Superman has had the best trailers so far for newer films. The first Fantastic Four trailer was really good, but then they just abandoned the plot and focused on the goofy kiddie aspect of the story, Mission Impossible had great trailers too. Thunderbolts trailers were misleading and didn’t really reflect the movie.
