Randeep Hooda‘s directorial debut film “Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,” slated to release on March 22, is based on the life journey of Indian freedom fighter and reformer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, also known by the name Veer Savarkar. The film faced many challenges in terms of censorship; finally, the Hindi version got approval from the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification).

According to film critics and business analyst Taran Adarsh Report, the controversial film, despite a long struggle at the censor board, finally gets cleared of all the censorship formulas, receives a U/A certificate, and has 178.31 min: sec [2 hours, 58 min, 31 sec] of official runtime. Unfortunately, the Marathi version has not been approved by the CBFC. Based on some source reports, following the Hindi version’s reaction, the Marathi version will receive approval.

The Biography, Drama film is the directorial debut of Randeep Hooda; he also led the film with the supporting casts Ankita Lokhande, Apinderdeep Singh, Amit Sial, Mark Bennington, and others. As per the report coming out, Randeep was loose, around 30 kg, waiting to portray the character. Music given by Hitesh Modak and Shreyas Puranik and cinematography handled by Arvind Krishna are all set to arrive on March 22nd under the banners Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Avak Films, Legend Global Studio, Legend Studios, Randeep Hooda Films, and Zee Studios.
