Former actress of Bollywood Tabassum Govil passed away at the age of 78 due to cardiac arrest, on the 18th of November. People also know her as “Baby Tabassum.” She was a talk show host, and she started her career as a child actor in 1947. Apart from that, she had done some movies like Nargis, Mera Suhaag, Manjhdhar, Bari Behen, Deedar, and Swarg. Tabassum Govil also hosted the popular Doordarshan celebrity talk show Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan from 1972 to 1993.
She was born on July 9, 1994, in Bombay, British India. Her father was a freedom fighter, and her mother was a freedom fighter, journalist, and author. Her father named her Tabassum because her mother belongs to a Muslim family, and her mother named her Kiran Bala Sachdev because her father belongs to a non-Muslim family. In her documents, her official name is Kiran Bala Sachdev, but people love to call her Tabbsum. She was also a YouTuber; some of her closest friends called her Baby Tabassum. Her husband is Vijay Govil. he is the elder brother of television actor Arun Govil and his only son, Hoshang Govil.

A couple of days before, she went to the hospital for a checkup because she was suffering from gastro problems. After a serious condition, she was admitted to the hospital, and suddenly, after a few hours, she had a cardiac arrest ( heart attack) at 8.40 pm and 8.42 pm. “After all the efforts of doctors, they couldn’t save him, and she left this world peacefully on Friday night.
COVID
In 2021, Tabassum Govil found a COVID-positive sample. she isolated herself in a hospital, and after spending nearly 10 days there, she recovered from COVID-19. At the time, his son Hoshang Govil dismissed rumors that she had Alzheimer’s disease. “Some of the disgusted people spread her picture and started a rumor that she had Alzheimer’s.” That was made up by someone. But later on we found that she didn’t have any kind of heart disease, etc.
