Telusu Kada Vs Mithra Mandali day 1 box office collection: Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashii Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty feature in the pivotal Telugu rom-com “Telusu Kada“, which was released this Diwali festive season, on 17th October 2025, against Priyadarshi Pulikonda and Niharika NM’s comedy film “Mithra Mandali“, which was released a day earlier on 16th October. On the opening day at the Indian box office, Siddhu’s rom-com dominates over Priyadarshi’s comedy film.
While Mithra Mandali secured roughly Rs 1.44 Cr+ in 2 days, followed by Telusu Kada debuted with Rs 2 Cr+ net in India.

The debutant director Neeraja Kona’s film Telusu Kada on the opening day began its Indian box office journey with Rs 2.1 Cr net on day 1, which ranked as the 25th top Telugu opening film in 2025 so far, after Kishkindhapuri (₹ 2.15 Cr). The film initially received mixed reviews from the moviegoers; it will be interesting to see how Telusu Kada will perform on the weekend days.

Priyadarshi Pulikonda’s Telugu comedy film Mithra Mandali debuted at the Indian box office on 16th October with a poor Rs 0.50 Cr (around), marking around 77.78% lower score than Telusu Kada (approx. Rs 2.25 Cr). On day 2, the film witnessed a solid surge and minted around Rs 0.94 Cr, pushing the total Indian net score so far to Rs 1.44 Cr.
