Tere Naam Re-Release Date: The megastar Salman Khan’s cult classic “Tere Naam“, directed by Satish Kaushik, is finally scheduled to re-release in theatres on February 27, 2026, during this Valentine’s Day month, around 23 years after its original release.
Salman Khan’s iconic hairstyle from Tere Naam, even after a couple of decades, is still a fan favorite. Including Bollywood Bhaijaan, the film also features Bhumika Chawla (Hindi debut film), Sachin Khedekar, Savita Prabhune, and Sarfraz Khan in crucial roles.

Last year’s massive success of “Saiyaara”, led by the newcomer duo Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, reaffirmed that the romantic genre film is in huge demand, but the Hindi film industry has struggled to deliver consistently in recent times. Adding to this trend, in the last year, Harshvardhan Rane’s 2016 film “Sanam Teri Kasam” rerelease further highlights the growing audience appetite, and Tere Naam’s re-release makes it perfect for this Valentine’s Day month.
According to the Bollywood Hungama report, on Friday, January 30, PVR Cinemas confirmed that they will bring this cult classic to the big screens on February 27, in the running year.
