The Bhootnii release date postponed: Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Asif Khan, and BeYounik’s pivotal feature, the much-awaited Hindi action horror comedy film “The Bhootnii“, gets a new release date, pushed to 1st May 2025, while it was earlier scheduled to release on 18th April. Sidhaant Sachdev directed and wrote the film, backed by Vankush Arora & director himself, and locked to land on the silver screens under the banners of Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Three Dimension Motion Pictures.

On Monday, 14th April, production house Soham Rockstar Entertainment officially took to the Twitter handle and revealed the new release date in a unique way by captioning: “Insaan mohabbat wali date fix kar sakta hai, bhootnii ke aane ki nahi… woh kab aayegi, kaise aayegi, yeh sirf wahi jaanti hai! (A person can fix the date of love, but not the date of arrival of the ghost… when will she come, how will she come, only she knows!)
Laga tha 18th April ko aayegi lekin ab aa rahi hai 1st May ko, taiyaar rehna! (It was thought, it would come on 18th April but now, is coming on 1st May, be ready!) #TheBhootnii– in cinemas 1st May 2025!”
According to the veteran film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh’s report, the release date has been postponed to allow the team more time to complete the film’s extensive VFX work and complete it more accurately. It’s all set to clash against Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor‘s pivotal crime thriller sequel, Raid 2.

The Hindi horror-comedy film was directed and written by Sidhaant Sachdev, who also scripted the film with Vankush Arora. Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut, Sanjay Dutt, and Maanayata Dutt backed the film, all set to release on 1st May, 2025.
