The Buckingham Murders domestic box office collection day 2: The talented Hansal Mehta directorial crime thriller “The Buckingham Murders,” featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan in the titular role, alongside Keith Allen and Ranveer Brar in the crucial role, debuted in the theatres on 13th September, under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and Mahana Films. Despite there being no big releases against it, continues it’s decent run at the Indian box office. The Buckingham Murders domestic box office collection day 2 fails to surpass re-release film Tumbbad
According to the official report by Balaji Motion Pictures, Kareena Kapoor Khan’s latest release fails to overtake the same-day release, 2018’s horror drama flick Tumbbad’s biz of repeat runs. While the Sohum Shah co-produced and led featuring film was generated impressive Rs 4.30 Cr net within 2 days, on the other hand, The Buckingham Murders, on its initial release, opened with Rs 1.62 Cr, and on the second day, a 48.77% spike helped to collect Rs 2.41 Cr, which introduced 2 days total domestic net of the crime thriller, Rs 4.03 Cr.
Side by side, it is also worth adding that the Independence release, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s biggest grosser Hindi film of 2024, Stree 2 on it’s 5th Saturday generated more than The Buckingham Murders 2 days score, Rs 5.55 Cr.
