On the opening day, The Devil witnessed festival-like celebrations across Karnataka and registered a remarkable double-digit number of Rs 10 Cr net in India, making it the second-biggest Kannada net opener of 2025.

Darshan’s Kannada actioner received mixed reviews from the moviegoers and critics, but the strong advance booking and Darshan’s request from the Ballari Central Prison in Karnataka helped ‘The Devil’ to debut on a solid note, with Rs 10 Cr net in India. The opening day’s score surpassed Ekka (Rs 1.45 Cr) and became the 2nd biggest Kannada opening movie in 2025 so far. The top 3 opening day scores are as follows:
