‘The Kerala Story 2’ Release Put on Hold
On Thursday, February 26, the Kerala High Court put ‘The Kerala Story 2’ release on hold, following the pleas against the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certifications) clearance. The respected High Court opined that the Censor Board had failed to properly apply its mind while granting certification to the film.
Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas instructed the CBFC board to re-examine the issue within a couple of weeks. As per the fresh order, until the span of time, the movie shall not be released. As per the 123Telugu.com report, the court had expressed its willingness to watch the real-incident-based drama before coming to a verdict on this plea, but the producer denied it.
Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, the gripping Hindi drama film is led by Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha and supported by Alka Amin, Sumit Gahlawat, and others.
