According to the latest box office early estimate report coming out, the PAN Indian film debuted at the Indian box office with Rs 17 Cr net in India; for raising the score, the Tamil version secured a majority Rs 15.4 Cr net, marked as the 4th top Kollywood opening film in 2025, trailing behind Suriya and Pooja Hegde-led Retro (Rs 17.25 Cr).
Due to mixed to poor moviegoers’ and critics’ word of mouth, Kamal Haasan’s lead inaugural film in 2025 fails to beat 2024’s Indian 2 opening day collection of Rs 25.6 Cr (Tamil: 16.5 Cr). As per the latest IMDb update, the film secures a 4.7 rating, based on 828 individual remarks, marked as one of the poorest IMDb-rated Kollywood films in 2025 so far.
All eyes are on the weekend box office score, the poor review hinting it may fail to hold the double-digit score on the weekend days.
