Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life box office collection day 4 sees 16% decline
The seven National Film Awards winning director Mani Ratnam’s latest film Thug Life generated Rs 30.40 Cr net at the Indian box office in the last 4 days, but due to its mixed word of mouth, on day 5 (1st Sunday), instead of growth, it saw around a 16% decline and minted the poorest numbers since it debuted, in the vicinity of Rs 6-7 Cr (early estimate), and took the total Indian net score to Rs 36.4-37.4 Cr.
For raising the number around Rs 31.97 Cr net contributed by the Tamil version, marked as the 4th top Tamil opening weekend grosser film in 2025, just after Suriya and Pooja Hegde’s Retro (Rs 39.41 Cr). All eyes are on the Monday hold; the trend is hinting it might be hard for the film to hold around the Rs 3 Cr net number.
