Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor’s movie Tu jhoothi main makkaar crosses Aye Dil hai Mushkil and Barfi lifetime Biz, After earning ₹ 92.31 Cr in the first week, TJMM performed well in the second weekend also, scoring ₹ 16.83 Cr, which is almost a drop of 61% from the first Friday-Sunday weekend. Luv Ranjan’s movie performed almost as well on its second Monday ₹ 2.40 Cr, helping to bring the total net collection to over ₹ 111.50 Cr in 13 days so far.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has crossed into one of the top 5 highest grossing films of Ranbir Kapoor, at the Indian box office. In the second Tuesday of the second week, TJMM crossed Ranbir and Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz’s “Barfi!” (₹ 112.10 Cr), and Ranbir and Anushka starrer “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” (₹ 113.19 Cr), has become his 4th highest nett collection.
Meanwhile, this Movie is Ranbir Kapoor’s 7th Movie that Surpassed 100 crore grossing and still has 75 Crore to be at the Top and also beat Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani which was his Highest grossing Film of his Career,(₹ 188.57 Cr) might be hard to cross it.
Tu jhoothi main makkaar is Shraddha Kapoor’s 6th 100-cr nett collection film of her career so far. TJMM beat Sidharth and Shraddha’s lifetime net total of “Ek Villain” (₹ 105 Cr) and the Shraddha and Varun Dhawan starrer “ABCD2” (₹ 106 Cr) has become the fourth highest for Shraddha and is about to take the third spot ahead of “Stree“, which scored approx. ₹ 130 Cr net.
If we seen till now, the worldwide collection of TJMM, has grossed approximately ₹ 172 Cr and may enter the ₹ 200 Cr club in 4 to 5 days.
