According to the industry tracker Sacnilk.com report, the Rajinikanth-led action drama film grossed Rs 64.00 Cr (India: 37.00 Cr; Overseas: 27.00 Cr) on its opening day. Following the footsteps, it witnessed a slide dip globally on the second day (1st Friday), while the domestic market grossed Rs 27.8 Cr, the overseas market saw a huge decline, added Rs 9 Cr gross, and introduced a 2-day total global gross of Rs 100.80 Cr (India: 64.80 Cr; Overseas: 36 Cr). It’s worth adding that the North American market alone grossed a humongous $1.5 million (Rs 12.60 Cr).
